It is the mission of the Lima, Peru MTC to prepare missionaries with the tools they  need to be able to invite people to come unto Christ by receiving the restored gospel of Jesus Christ through faith in Christ and His atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end.

Leaders and teachers help newly-called missionaries become true disciples of Christ and future leaders in their homes, in their communities and countries, and in the church.
